My time at PSSI has been nothing short of remarkable as I travel the country meeting our exceptional team members and customers. I have personally witnessed the strong commitment to safety and exceptional service that our teams provide.

What I have been most impressed with is the quick adherence and collaboration across all levels around the new zero-tolerance compliance mandate. Compliance belongs at the core of our values – along with the safe, clean, and on-time service we are best known for among our industry.

At PSSI, we are working diligently to weave a culture of compliance into everything we do and all decisions we make, small or large. It means going beyond the mandated training to embed compliance into every workflow, every training session. Together, our teams are now living our policies and procedures meant to uphold a zero-tolerance policy against hiring anyone under the age of 18.

While we already have extensive compliance procedures in place, we now have a comprehensive compliance plan in place, and I invite you to review it. Here are some of the plan’s pillars:

• PSSI hired an experienced Chief Compliance Officer, Diego Alvarez, to strengthen our culture and drive our commitment to compliance. This is an executive level role now committed to this company value.

• When it comes to hiring, we have enhanced Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and workflows to assist on-the-ground teams with identity verification and investigations.
• PSSI launched a “No Minors Pledge” for team members to help enforce PSSI’s prohibition of the employment of minors. This means every member of our workforce is responsible for what happens on his or her watch and urged to report any concerns or violations immediately.

PSSI is already considered an industry leader, but by further embracing a culture of compliance – we will stay on the path towards building the best safety and compliant company in the entire industry.
