Fortrex is proud to announce the first-ever members of our Honor Circle, a new tradition recognizing team members who have reached the incredible milestone of 25 years or more of service with our company. This year, we are celebrating 69 honorees across Fortrex, each team member representing decades of dedication, expertise, and impact.

To mark this milestone, Fortrex has been hosting on-site celebrations where honorees receive a personalized letter from CEO Tim Mulhere as well as a custom embroidered quarter zip sweatshirt.

The Honor Circle was created to recognize individuals whose devotion to their work and their teams has shaped who we are as a company. For many honorees, their longevity stems from a genuine love for their work and the pride that comes with it.

“I like to work and I really enjoy what I do,” shared José Cisneros, Site Supervisor, who also reflected on the importance of learning from colleagues at every stage of his career. “Going home happy after learning from my coworkers — both those who have been here longer than I have and the new ones as well.”

Alvaro Gomez, Area Manager, who has spent 36 years in sanitation — 28 of them with Fortrex — described the milestone as one built on growth and dedication. “It represents an important part of my life… I’m proud of the commitment I’ve shown and of the milestones I’ve reached along the way.”

For others, joy comes from helping the next generation succeed. Ruperto Castañeda, Site Supervisor, said he stayed because he enjoys his work — but what he’s most proud of is “being able to teach new employees how the job is done and seeing them grow within the company.”

The Honor Circle celebrates the individuals whose skill, loyalty, and leadership have shaped Fortrex’s culture and success. Their stories reflect a company built on people who care deeply about their work and one another. We are proud to recognize our 2025 honorees and are grateful for the decades of service and impact they have brought to Fortrex.
