PSSI Chemical Innovations offers a food contact antimicrobial that can be left on food processing machinery/equipment after its application during the sanitation process. This product is highly effective in preventing microbial contamination inside food processing plants. Microbarrier Elite™, formerly KC-690 antimicrobial coating, protects the food and non-food contact surfaces and textiles in between cleanings.

Enhances timeline for future sanitation

  • Microbarrier Elite’s stable molecular structure results in a protectant that is long-lasting due to tenacious bonding property to most substrates.
  • Microbarrier Elite can be left on, whereas other hard surface sanitizers are required to be washed/rinsed-off or only last 24 hours.
  • Leaving this product on the surface forms a long-life protective coating that doesn’t leave the surface until it is worn off. This provides a protective coating between regular cleaning and sanitation.
