CAD system not only helps to ensure clear and accurate communication of

for fire services and EMS response teams. A truly integrated, computer-aided

RESPONSE™ CAD provides a single
point of incident entry. Information recorded by the call-taker and/or
dispatcher is transferred in real time to other PSSI applications (MIS
and RMS) for the most integrated solutions in the industry. Our precise
integration of data eliminates redundancies.
The user-friendly features enhance
security, accuracy, speed and information access.
- Command Center is 100-line scrollable and allows entry options for
free-form text or to enter, edit and reuse commands
- Extensive use of function keys, mouse, command line and GUI icons
allow operators to function according to their preference and environment
- Customization preferences and options include screen layouts, which
are saved per operator ID and then automatically reconfigured at logon
The full-featured Fire/EMS capabilities
are designed to meet the unique dispatch and incident management needs
of fire services and EMS environments.
- Integration with Priority DispatchTM applications
- Location-related information files are logically separated for
hazard, premise, direction, temporary, emergency and hydrant information
with automatically illuminated icons to alert the operator
- Response plans can be differentiated by call type, address and/or
area or time of day
- Icons across top of window map to function keys for commonly performed
functions; then remap to be applicable to the displayed formn Icons
along the side of the incident display signify if additional information
is available for this incident or location: Directions, Hazards, Premise
History, Temporary Info, Other Data - hydrants, Emergency Data, Attached
messages, 911 ANI/ALI data and Geographic data
- 100-line scrollable command line provides ability to view/reuse/reenter/edit
commands
- Multiple incidents for agencies (i.e., Police and Fire/EMS) can
be generated from one entry form
- Message Center shows messages in queue, with counts and prioritized
by type of message

- Status monitors can be tailored to operator preference and stored
with logon ID
- Ability to “Drag and Drop” from/to status monitor to
dispatch, clear, etc.
- Notes window for free form text information display
- Hospital status window shows current status codes of hospitals

- Unit or incident detail (shown here) can be accessed by clicking
on incident or unit ID on the status monitor
- Status changes can be done directly from display buttons (i.e.,
Enroute, Hospital, Arrived Hospital, Working fire), as well as setting
timer values
